The Air Jordan V turns 35 in 2025 and in honor of that milestone, the “Grape” will be one of several colorways of Michael Jordan’s fifth signature sneaker that will get retail run.
At this time there are no images of the shoe but we should see a white leather upper with clear netting on the tongue and sides. A new emerald Jumpman should be perched atop the grape ice tongue. New emerald also takes care of the “NIKE AIR” branding on the rear heel and backing the tongue, while black would show up at the inner.
Underneath the upper should reside a grape ice and black midsole with new emerald “teeth”, as well as a translucent and white rubber outsole.
Zsneakerheadz adds the 2025 iteration will be closer recreation of the original, as it will feature a more 1990 accurate shape, improved padding at the ankle and will be housed in original packaging.
